Trump said every U.S. strike on Iran pushes oil prices higher and that oil prices may rise modestly going forward.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent said U.S. oil may deserve to trade at a premium.
Press TV, citing unnamed sources, said Iran would retaliate against adversary targets at at least a two-to-one ratio and would close the Strait of Hormuz if it suffers any new attack. The report said Iran will reopen the strait on its own timetable under an Islamabad memorandum of understanding and will not yield on management of the waterway.
