Palantir (PLTR) shares fell 3% on Monday due to Moody's downgrade of the U.S. credit rating. Moody's said the United States has a "persistently large fiscal deficit" and shows no signs of slowing down. Still, Palantir shares are up about two-thirds this year and hit an all-time high last week. Previously, the company was favored by the market for its deal with NATO and quarterly sales that exceeded expectations, and was called the'market definer 'in the field of artificial intelligence by analysts.
