Singapore Exchange Reports 26% Increase in Securities Market Turnover During October

Singapore Exchange (SGX:S68) reported a 26% year-over-year increase in securities market turnover of around SG$33.9 billion in October, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Securities' daily average also jumped 26% year over year to SG$1.54 billion while the Straits Times Index advanced 3% month over month.
Cash SDAV was up 24% year over year to SG$1.44 billion.
During October, the company also launched the Indonesia-Singapore Depository Receipt Linkage.
Meanwhile, commodity derivatives traded volume jumped 17% year over year to 6.6 million contracts.
