U.S. Unemployment Decline Shows Labor-Market Stabilization -- Market Talk

0837 ET - Given that payroll numbers have been volatile, many economists have said that they would focus first and foremost on the January unemployment rate. The fall to 4.3% is a good sign that at least for now, joblessness hasn't been worsening. The consensus forecast had forecast unemployment holding steady at 4.4%.
