The Israeli military said that it had launched attacks on Hezbollah infrastructure in Beirut, after it issued an evacuation warning to residents of several neighborhoods south of the Lebanese capital.
The latest strikes come as Israel wages a campaign aimed at weakening the Iran-backed militant group, which it says has launched rockets and drones from Lebanon into Israel amid the war in Iran. Israel recently launched a ground invasion in a swath of southern Lebanon and said it was prepared for a prolonged campaign.
