President Donald Trump on August 13 issued a full endorsement of U.S. Representative Nick Langworthy (R-NY), calling him an "America First Patriot" who is "doing a fantastic job representing New York's 23rd Congressional District." In a post on X, Trump highlighted Langworthy's service as former chairman of the New York Republican State Committee and praised his work on economic growth, tax cuts, energy independence, border security, military support, and the Second Amendment.
"Nick Langworthy has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!" Trump wrote. The endorsement describes Langworthy as a "MAGA Warrior" who has been with the president "from the very beginning." Trump listed specific policy areas where Langworthy is working hard, including growing the economy, cutting taxes and regulations, promoting American-made goods, advancing American energy dominance, keeping the border secure, supporting the military and veterans, and defending the Second Amendment.
Langworthy, first elected to Congress in 2022, represents a district that covers much of western New York. Before entering Congress, he served as chairman of the New York Republican State Committee from 2019 to 2022. Trump's endorsement comes as Langworthy seeks a second term in the 2024 election cycle.
