President Donald Trump announced on August 13 that he will return to New York on August 14 to support Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman's campaign for governor. In a post on X, Trump praised Blakeman as a "MAGA all the way" ally who has worked "tirelessly with the Brave Heroes of ICE, Border Patrol, and Law Enforcement to Keep Our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Safeguard our Community, and Ensure LAW AND ORDER."
Trump outlined Blakeman's agenda for the state, including growing the economy, cutting taxes and regulations, promoting "MADE IN THE U.S.A.," championing American energy dominance, strengthening the military and veterans, advancing election integrity, and protecting the Second Amendment. The president called Blakeman a "FANTASTIC guy" who will win the November election and gave him "Complete and Total Endorsement for Governor of the ONCE GREAT STATE OF NEW YORK." Trump concluded, "BRUCE WILL MAKE IT GREAT AGAIN, AND WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!"
