Trump: Endorses Mike Lawler for Re-Election in NY-17

President Donald Trump on August 13 endorsed Representative Mike Lawler for re-election in New York's 17th Congressional District, praising him as a "Strong Champion, and Highly Effective Representative" for the district's constituents.

In a post on X, Trump described Lawler as a "true America First Patriot" who is working to grow the economy, create jobs, lower taxes, promote American energy dominance, secure the border, and support the military, veterans, and law enforcement while defending the Second Amendment. Trump also highlighted Lawler's efforts to increase the SALT deduction for working men and women in New York.

"Mike is doing an outstanding job representing the Hudson Valley, and all of New York," Trump wrote, adding that Lawler has his "Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election to New York's 17th Congressional District." Trump concluded, "HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!"
