President Donald Trump on August 13 endorsed Catalina Lauf, a former presidential appointee at the U.S. Department of Commerce, to represent Florida’s 19th Congressional District. In a post on X, Trump called Lauf an "America First Patriot" who has "proven she has the Courage and Wisdom to deliver strong results."
"As a former Presidential Appointee at the U.S. Department of Commerce in my First Administration, Catalina has proven she has the Courage and Wisdom to deliver strong results for the incredible people of her State and Nation — She has truly been with us from the beginning!" Trump wrote. He listed Lauf's policy priorities: growing the economy, cutting taxes and regulations, promoting "MADE IN THE U.S.A.," unleashing American energy dominance, securing the border, stopping migrant crime, supporting the military and veterans, advancing election integrity, and defending the Second Amendment.
"Catalina Lauf has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Congresswoman from Florida’s 19th Congressional District — SHE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!" Trump added.
