President Donald Trump announced on August 13 that he looks forward to returning to New York tomorrow and gave his full endorsement to Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman for governor. Trump described Blakeman as a "highly respected and very popular" leader who is "MAGA all the way" and has been with him from the beginning.
As Nassau County Executive, Blakeman has worked with ICE, Border Patrol, and law enforcement to secure the border, stop migrant crime, safeguard communities, and ensure law and order, according to Trump. The president outlined Blakeman's platform as governor: growing the economy, cutting taxes and regulations, promoting Made in the U.S.A., championing American energy dominance, strengthening the military and veterans, advancing election integrity, and protecting the Second Amendment.
Trump predicted Blakeman will win the November election and called him "a FANTASTIC guy" who "will never let you down." He concluded by stating that Blakeman will make the "once great" state of New York "great again."
