President Donald Trump on August 13 announced his endorsement of Catalina Lauf, a former presidential appointee at the U.S. Department of Commerce, for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida's 19th Congressional District. In a statement on X, Trump called Lauf an "America First Patriot" and emphasized her role in his first administration.
"It is my Great Honor to endorse America First Patriot, Catalina Lauf, who is running to represent the tremendous people of Florida’s 19th Congressional District!" Trump wrote. He highlighted her record on economic growth, tax cuts, deregulation, energy independence, border security, and support for the military and veterans. Trump also praised Lauf's commitment to election integrity and the Second Amendment.
"Catalina Lauf has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Congresswoman from Florida’s 19th Congressional District — SHE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!" the President concluded. Lauf previously served as a presidential appointee at the U.S. Department of Commerce during Trump's first term.
