President Donald Trump on August 13 endorsed Mike LiPetri, a MAGA Warrior, for election to the U.S. House of Representatives from New York’s 3rd Congressional District, sharply criticizing incumbent Representative Tom Suozzi as a “Radical Left Lunatic.”
In a post on X, Trump accused Suozzi of supporting open borders, allowing men to compete in women’s sports, transgender rights for all, defunding the police, and gun confiscation. Trump also claimed Suozzi voted against “the Biggest Tax Cut in the History of our Country, including SALT!” and cited a New York Post headline stating, “Long Island Representative Tom Suozzi beats Pelosi’s stock portfolio performance with 35% return,” alleging Suozzi used insider information to trade stocks.
Trump contrasted Suozzi with LiPetri, describing him as “a very successful Attorney and former New York State Assemblyman, who has dedicated his life to serving his Community.” He listed LiPetri’s priorities: growing the economy, achieving American energy dominance, cutting taxes and regulations, promoting Made in the USA, securing the border, stopping migrant crime, ensuring law and order, supporting the military, veterans, and police, defending the Second Amendment, and ensuring peace through strength.
“Mike LiPetri has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Representative from New York’s 3rd Congressional District — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!” Trump wrote.
