IBM, Singapore Institute of Technology Team Up on Quantum-Safe Cybersecurity Hub

MT Newswires Live04:24

IBM (IBM) and the Singapore Institute of Technology plan to establish the Quantum-Safe Centre by the end of 2026 to accelerate the Southeast Asian country's transition to quantum-safe cybersecurity.

The center at the Punggol campus in Singapore will help organizations assess quantum-safe readiness, identify vulnerabilities in existing cybersecurity systems and develop pathways to adopt quantum-safe solutions, the institute said Tuesday in a statement.

It will also provide training, applied research opportunities and industry collaboration.

The center will include a quantum-safe testbed powered by IBM Quantum Safe technology, including IBM Guardium Cryptography Manager and IBM Quantum Safe Explorer.
