Seatrium to Convert, Integrate Five Karpowership Vessels

Seatrium (SGX:5E2) secured a deal to undertake major conversion and integration work for five Whale Class powerships for Karpowership, according to a Friday filing.
The work includes equipment integration, mechanical completion and pre-commissioning, with the first vessel targeted to arrive at Seatrium's Tuas Boulevard Yard in December 2027.
The contract follows a letter of intent signed in August 2025 that provided for three floating storage and regasification unit conversions and the potential integration of up to six new-generation powerships, it said.
