China Southern Airlines (HKG:1055, SHA:600029) signed a joint venture agreement with Air Astana, a Friday release by the latter showed.
The move aims to boost air connectivity between Kazakhstan and China, increase travel opportunities, and give passengers more convenience and choice.
The parties will collaborate to coordinate flight schedules, expand codeshare services, and work on joint marketing initiatives.
Air Astana is an airline group in Central Asia and the Caucasus regions.
