$Alibaba(BABA)$ baidu is no where near alibaba. Although Baidu has strong AI momentum, it's more volatile and more exposed to short term negative factors. Alibaba, while less “headline flashy” in some AI dimensions, has made meaningful strides in cloud & infrastructure investment, has a broader base of operations, and seems more likely to weather potential regulatory headwinds. Valuations for Alibaba still look reasonable.
