While it’s true that the “Covid honeymoon may be over,” he wrote, referring to PayPal’s phenomenal growth in 2020, he highlighted several positives in the earnings report, including stronger engagement with PayPal’s core apps and momentum in new initiatives like “buy now pay later,” which saw 49% quarterly volume growth in transactions.\nHe also points out that PayPal’s boosted its total payment volume guidance from 30% to 33%-35% in the third quarter, 10 points higher than prepandemic levels. “This suggests strong e-commerce trends and PYPL’s share gains are here to stay,” he wrote in a note.\nBut expectations for the stock may be tough to meet at this juncture, and there were signs of pressure that may be building.\nPayPal, for instance, reported that it’s continuing to see weakness in the “take rate” it charges merchants, referring to the payments they make to PayPal for its services. The rate fell from 2.21% in the fourth quarter of 2020 to 2.11% in the first quarter and 2.01% in the second quarter. PayPal attributed the decline to lower eBay volumes and declines in foreign exchange fees, but it may also indicate that PayPal is facing more competitive pricing pressure.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"PYPL":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2056,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":179614135,"gmtCreate":1626516947527,"gmtModify":1703761378394,"author":{"id":"3569545655605882","authorId":"3569545655605882","name":"sky1001","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/6bd1cffc50651ff97ea49c8a7193f6fb","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3569545655605882","idStr":"3569545655605882"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Buy buy buy","listText":"Buy buy buy","text":"Buy buy buy","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/179614135","repostId":"2151350423","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1897,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":156792317,"gmtCreate":1625236074939,"gmtModify":1703739144898,"author":{"id":"3569545655605882","authorId":"3569545655605882","name":"sky1001","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/6bd1cffc50651ff97ea49c8a7193f6fb","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3569545655605882","idStr":"3569545655605882"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Sell it down","listText":"Sell it down","text":"Sell it down","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/156792317","repostId":"1199383023","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1199383023","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1625234763,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1199383023?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-07-02 22:06","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Iceberg Research: We're shorting AMC Entertainment","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1199383023","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Iceberg Research, a short seller,said they're shorting AMC Entertainment.\nAMC stock tumbled 10% in F","content":"
Iceberg Research, a short seller,said they're shorting AMC Entertainment.
\n
AMC stock tumbled 10% in Friday morning trading.
\n

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html;
