buzzkill on last year’s meme stock frenzy?

When Jason Gutierrez kept refreshing GameStop's performance between work tasks during the wild, early days of 2021, he admits future tax obligations weren't his No. 1 priority.

"It was in the back of my mind. If I come out huge, I have to pay it," said the 32-year-old Greenville, S.C. mechanical engineer.

Gutierrez's approximate $3,500 to $4,000 wager on GameStop was his first attempt at stock picking after he contributed to his 401(k)'s target date fund, and took advantage of the company match.

At one point, he was up by $4,500 to $5,000, but Gutierrez ended up selling most of his GameStop shares in late February and early March, eking out a loss less than $1,000.

That's pretty much a wash in his view. In the following months, Gutierrez tucked up to $1,000 in a savings account just in case he had to cover any additional taxes.

He still holds a small amount of GameStop, just for the good memories of a "whirlwind" time.

Gutierrez was almost one of the lucky ones. A year ago, the short squeeze on stocks like GameStop and AMC became a social-media phenomenon and Wall Street morality play wrapped into one pandemic-era event.

Now, the early 2021 trading frenzy could represent something else: a lesson for new retail investors on the perils of bad tax planning.

Future taxes weren’t exactly what Jason Gutierrez was thinking about in the heights of the early 2021 GameStop saga.

If someone bought and sold last year, but plowed all their profits from meme stocks and cryptocurrency back into the market -- without putting aside cash for taxes on the capital gains -- they may have a smaller 2022 portfolio to pay for a 2021 tax bill.

After hitting a share price high of $324 in late January, GameStop stock closed Wednesday at $100.11. In several price spikes last year, AMC jumped from $3.51 to $13.26 in January, soaring to $59.26 in mid-June; the stock closed Wednesday at $15.40.

Meanwhile, the value of bitcoin plummeted from nearly $64,000 in early November and now hovers below $40,000. In that same span, ethereum dropped from close to $5,000 to less than $3,000.

This is coinciding with the income-tax season. The IRS wants taxpayers to pay tax liabilities by April 18.

The concern, some financial experts say, is there may be too many others who didn't have the same foresight, causing their good memories to turn bad.

"We're worried that some of these newer individual investors might be receiving a tax bill that they aren't prepared for," said Lindsey Bell, chief markets and money strategist at Ally, a financial-services company with banking, lending and broker offerings.

‘We’re worried that some of these newer individual investors might be receiving a tax bill that they aren’t prepared for.’”

— Lindsey Bell, chief markets and money strategist at Ally

Here's one sign of the times: A 60% year-over-year increase in the size of the estimated tax payments that Ally bank customers sent to the IRS for the fourth quarter.

"The largest component of that, based on our own analysis, is likely the payments related to stock gains," Bell said.

"I think the meme stockers don't actually know about their problem yet," said Matt Metras, an enrolled agent with MDM Financial Services, a Rochester, N.Y.-based tax preparation and bookkeeping firm with a specialty in cryptocurrency.

That will happen once their brokerage platforms send along tax forms recording the person's stock-market proceeds and losses, he noted. "That's when I think they are going to be in for a surprise."

These forms are on the way. Robinhood users can access their 1099s in mid-February, a spokesman said. TD Ameritrade has been sending its 1099s since mid-January and will wrap the process in the coming weeks, a spokeswoman said. Charles Schwab Corp., where Gutierrez traded, will make the forms available online by the end of the first week in February.

Some but not all cryptocurrency exchanges send tax forms to users, Metras noted. The recently passed infrastructure bill requires people and entities who regularly carry out digital-asset transfers to report those transactions to the IRS. The hotly disputed reporting requirements are scheduled to take effect in 2024.

IRS rules on selling stocks

It's tough to say how many people will find themselves in a jam. On one hand, with the pandemic giving rise to the "retail bro," 10 million new brokerage accounts were opened in 2020, according to J.D. Power, a consumer analytics firm.

On the other hand, as companies like GameStop and AMC briefly reached the stratosphere, it was in no small part thanks to the buy-and-hold strategy from people on Reddit's WallStreetBets. That "diamond hands" approach could be a saving grace, come tax time.

The tax on capital gains can be as much as 20% when the sale or "realization" happens at least one year after the purchase. (The tax is 0% for people making up to $40,4000 and 15% for individuals making between $40,400 and $445,850, the IRS says)

If the purchase and sale happens within a year, however, that's a short-term capital gain and the proceeds count as ordinary income. That's subject to income tax brackets which can run up to 37%.

The IRS "wash sale rule" essentially blocks investors from taking a capital loss (which reduces their tax exposure) if they buy the same or substantially same securities in the 30 days before the loss or the 30 days after.

Metras said this rule increases tax bills every year -- and he's expecting the same this year. Many clients playing the market "don't realize that they can't deduct those loses and they have a ton of gains on paper. I see that every year, especially with platforms that make it super easy to trade a lot like Robinhood," he said.

Robinhood does notify users about the wash sale rule in its help center, a spokesman noted.

Crypto concerns 'People are going to be left holding a bag and owing taxes'

There are parallels between 2021 and the recent past, said Jordan Bass, a CPA at his Los Angeles-based accounting firm, Taxing Cryptocurrency, and a tax attorney specializing in digital assets.

Bitcoin experienced a significant drop in early 2018, Bass said. "The cascading effect of prices depreciating and people selling and panic selling is still there and people are going to be left holding a bag and owing taxes. It's a similar concept with equities."

‘The cascading effect of prices depreciating and people selling and panic selling is still there and people are going to be left holding a bag and owing taxes.’”

— Jordan Bass, founder of Taxing Cryptocurrency

Like stocks, capital gains taxation apply to crypto -- and the IRS is keen on making sure anyone using cryptocurrency is paying their full tab.

People who have tax bills they can't pay have several options. They can arrange installment agreements or they can try to arrange an "offer in compromise" with the IRS. For these offers, the tax collector will accept less than the full liability, but there are a string of caveats. (Read more about those rules here.)

When some crypto investors get in a tax bind, Bass said it's not that they can't afford to settle their tab if they started to liquidate. It's that they're not willing, because they think the market that went down will come back up again -- and soon.

"If they bet correctly and the market does come back, yes, that's brilliant. But if they bet incorrectly, it's not. The reason why I say the word 'bet' is because it's almost like a gamble," Bass said.

Bitcoin owners are hoping for a jump back to over $55,000 in six months, according to a Morning Consult poll on Tuesday.

GameStop, meanwhile, was a turning point for Gutierrez. He still contributes to his 401(k), but he's built up his cryptocurrency holdings, including in DeFi. He mostly buys and holds, as an investment strategy and a tax consideration to avoid higher taxes from short-term capital gains.

Looking back, the GameStop run up "was definitely the perfect gateway drug into the rest of this," Gutierrez said, adding, "I'm in it for the long run."

","source":"lsy1603348471595","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; A year ago, the short squeeze on stocks like GameStop and AMC became a social-media phenomenon and Wall Street morality play wrapped into one pandemic-era event. Now, the early 2021 trading frenzy could represent something else: a lesson for new retail investors on the perils of bad tax planning.Future taxes weren’t exactly what Jason Gutierrez was thinking about in the heights of the early 2021 GameStop saga.If someone bought and sold last year, but plowed all their profits from meme stocks and cryptocurrency back into the market -- without putting aside cash for taxes on the capital gains -- they may have a smaller 2022 portfolio to pay for a 2021 tax bill. After hitting a share price high of $324 in late January, GameStop stock closed Wednesday at $100.11. In several price spikes last year, AMC jumped from $3.51 to $13.26 in January, soaring to $59.26 in mid-June; the stock closed Wednesday at $15.40.Meanwhile, the value of bitcoin plummeted from nearly $64,000 in early November and now hovers below $40,000. In that same span, ethereum dropped from close to $5,000 to less than $3,000.This is coinciding with the income-tax season. The IRS wants taxpayers to pay tax liabilities by April 18.The concern, some financial experts say, is there may be too many others who didn't have the same foresight, causing their good memories to turn bad.\"We're worried that some of these newer individual investors might be receiving a tax bill that they aren't prepared for,\" said Lindsey Bell, chief markets and money strategist at Ally, a financial-services company with banking, lending and broker offerings.‘We’re worried that some of these newer individual investors might be receiving a tax bill that they aren’t prepared for.’”— Lindsey Bell, chief markets and money strategist at AllyHere's one sign of the times: A 60% year-over-year increase in the size of the estimated tax payments that Ally bank customers sent to the IRS for the fourth quarter.\"The largest component of that, based on our own analysis, is likely the payments related to stock gains,\" Bell said.\"I think the meme stockers don't actually know about their problem yet,\" said Matt Metras, an enrolled agent with MDM Financial Services, a Rochester, N.Y.-based tax preparation and bookkeeping firm with a specialty in cryptocurrency. That will happen once their brokerage platforms send along tax forms recording the person's stock-market proceeds and losses, he noted. \"That's when I think they are going to be in for a surprise.\"These forms are on the way. The hotly disputed reporting requirements are scheduled to take effect in 2024.IRS rules on selling stocksIt's tough to say how many people will find themselves in a jam. On one hand, with the pandemic giving rise to the \"retail bro,\" 10 million new brokerage accounts were opened in 2020, according to J.D. Power, a consumer analytics firm.On the other hand, as companies like GameStop and AMC briefly reached the stratosphere, it was in no small part thanks to the buy-and-hold strategy from people on Reddit's WallStreetBets. That \"diamond hands\" approach could be a saving grace, come tax time. The tax on capital gains can be as much as 20% when the sale or \"realization\" happens at least one year after the purchase. (The tax is 0% for people making up to $40,4000 and 15% for individuals making between $40,400 and $445,850, the IRS says)If the purchase and sale happens within a year, however, that's a short-term capital gain and the proceeds count as ordinary income. That's subject to income tax brackets which can run up to 37%.The IRS \"wash sale rule\" essentially blocks investors from taking a capital loss (which reduces their tax exposure) if they buy the same or substantially same securities in the 30 days before the loss or the 30 days after.Metras said this rule increases tax bills every year -- and he's expecting the same this year. Many clients playing the market \"don't realize that they can't deduct those loses and they have a ton of gains on paper. I see that every year, especially with platforms that make it super easy to trade a lot like Robinhood,\" he said.Robinhood does notify users about the wash sale rule in its help center, a spokesman noted.Crypto concerns 'People are going to be left holding a bag and owing taxes'There are parallels between 2021 and the recent past, said Jordan Bass, a CPA at his Los Angeles-based accounting firm, Taxing Cryptocurrency, and a tax attorney specializing in digital assets.Bitcoin experienced a significant drop in early 2018, Bass said. \"The cascading effect of prices depreciating and people selling and panic selling is still there and people are going to be left holding a bag and owing taxes. It's a similar concept with equities.\"‘The cascading effect of prices depreciating and people selling and panic selling is still there and people are going to be left holding a bag and owing taxes.’”— Jordan Bass, founder of Taxing CryptocurrencyLike stocks, capital gains taxation apply to crypto -- and the IRS is keen on making sure anyone using cryptocurrency is paying their full tab.People who have tax bills they can't pay have several options. They can arrange installment agreements or they can try to arrange an \"offer in compromise\" with the IRS. For these offers, the tax collector will accept less than the full liability, but there are a string of caveats. (Read more about those rules here.)When some crypto investors get in a tax bind, Bass said it's not that they can't afford to settle their tab if they started to liquidate. It's that they're not willing, because they think the market that went down will come back up again -- and soon.\"If they bet correctly and the market does come back, yes, that's brilliant. But if they bet incorrectly, it's not. The reason why I say the word 'bet' is because it's almost like a gamble,\" Bass said.Bitcoin owners are hoping for a jump back to over $55,000 in six months, according to a Morning Consult poll on Tuesday.GameStop, meanwhile, was a turning point for Gutierrez. He still contributes to his 401(k), but he's built up his cryptocurrency holdings, including in DeFi. He mostly buys and holds, as an investment strategy and a tax consideration to avoid higher taxes from short-term capital gains.Looking back, the GameStop run up \"was definitely the perfect gateway drug into the rest of this,\" Gutierrez said, adding, \"I'm in it for the long run.\"","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AMC":1,"GME":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2872,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9098241068,"gmtCreate":1644159528614,"gmtModify":1676533895052,"author":{"id":"3574550472976902","authorId":"3574550472976902","name":"SYFU","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7e9e3d2d44a5d4d299cb39a2cdbcbae1","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574550472976902","authorIdStr":"3574550472976902"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ohhhh","listText":"Ohhhh","text":"Ohhhh","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9098241068","repostId":"1105432695","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2667,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9098243760,"gmtCreate":1644159517882,"gmtModify":1676533895052,"author":{"id":"3574550472976902","authorId":"3574550472976902","name":"SYFU","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7e9e3d2d44a5d4d299cb39a2cdbcbae1","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574550472976902","authorIdStr":"3574550472976902"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ohhh","listText":"Ohhh","text":"Ohhh","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9098243760","repostId":"1123525144","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2852,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9091553326,"gmtCreate":1643903446134,"gmtModify":1676533870018,"author":{"id":"3574550472976902","authorId":"3574550472976902","name":"SYFU","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7e9e3d2d44a5d4d299cb39a2cdbcbae1","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574550472976902","authorIdStr":"3574550472976902"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ohhh","listText":"Ohhh","text":"Ohhh","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9091553326","repostId":"2208873391","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2208873391","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1643900124,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2208873391?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-02-03 22:55","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Load Up on These 2 Growth Stocks During This Market Correction","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2208873391","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Their shares are down, but they're very far from being out.","content":"
\n
If an investor wants a well-balanced portfolio, they'll need to hold a couple of growth stocks that'll appreciate in value reliably for years on end. The trouble is, companies known for growing quickly tend to trade at a premium, so it's typically hard to get a bargain under normal conditions. Both of the stocks I'll discuss today have had a punishing 12 months, and the recent market correction hasn't done them any favors. But nothing has changed about the quality of their business models or their ability to successfully execute. So, if anyone is looking for growth at a bargain, they should consider buying them. Let's explore why these companies are likely to bounce back fast.1. GoodRxGoodRx (NASDAQ:GDRX) helps consumers cut down on their prescription costs by finding coupons for the lowest local prices for their medicines and negotiating with manufacturers, pharmacies, and other providers on their behalf. Then, when pharmacy-benefit managers take their administrative fee from the pharmacy once the prescription is filled, GoodRx pockets a portion of it. Consumers can also subscribe for a monthly fee to get access to even more discounts. Between subscription income and fees, GoodRx generated $685.7 million in trailing-12-month revenue, and it's just getting started. The magic of this company's business model is that all of the incentives align perfectly. Patients can afford medications more easily, thereby helping them to experience better health. As a result, manufacturers lose fewer potential sales to price sensitivity among consumers. And healthcare providers don't need to worry about their patients having worse health outcomes from putting off spending on expensive but critical drugs. While it isn't profitable yet, its quarterly revenue has increased by 72.3% since January 2020. More importantly, the number of monthly active consumers using its service has increased by 31% year over year, reaching more than 6.4 million people as of 2021's third quarter. And its quarterly adjusted earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) have grown by 16%, reaching $61.8 million. As long as people need to spend less on their medications, the business will keep growing. If GoodRx can keep onboarding more consumers every year, it'll increase its economies of scale when it comes to negotiating with drug manufacturers and pharmacy-benefit managers, and that'll likely support a higher profit margin and more earnings accordingly. Therefore, it's definitely worth picking up a few shares while it's in a downtrend with the rest of the market if an investor's looking for a stock that has the potential to multiply in value.2. Innovative Industrial PropertiesMuch like GoodRx, Innovative Industrial Properties (NYSE:IIPR) has a highly repeatable business model, but it isn't in healthcare. Instead, Innovative Industrial is in the marijuana industry where it operates as both a landlord and a financial institution.Innovative Industrials' business starts when a cannabis company needs to raise capital but can't do so because traditional financial institutions are reluctant to lend to them as a result of cannabis prohibition. In short, the company offers to buy out a business' cannabis cultivation space, contingent on the owner leasing their former property immediately thereafter. That trade is mutually beneficial as the business gets the cash they need to grow, and Innovative Industrial gets a new rent-paying tenant as well as some property. And it's also quite profitable. Over the last three years, the company's quarterly net income has grown by 726.5%, and its dividend has grown by 233.3%. What's more, the weighted average lease length for its tenants is 16.7 years, so its base of revenue is remarkably safe. And all of the above bodes very well for new shareholders.Given that Innovative Industrial has more than $127 million in cash in the bank and $182.7 million in trailing-12-month revenue, it also has plenty of resources to keep buying out more space to continue growing. The only issue is, over the last six months, the total return of its shares has dropped by nearly 12%. Part of that is a result of the market getting gloomier toward marijuana stocks in general, and the recent correction certainly hasn't helped. On the bright side, the dip has driven Innovative Industrials' dividend yield up to 3%, which should sweeten the pot for new investors.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"GDRX":1,"IIPR":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3405,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9091559761,"gmtCreate":1643903427755,"gmtModify":1676533870010,"author":{"id":"3574550472976902","authorId":"3574550472976902","name":"SYFU","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7e9e3d2d44a5d4d299cb39a2cdbcbae1","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574550472976902","authorIdStr":"3574550472976902"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ohhh","listText":"Ohhh","text":"Ohhh","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9091559761","repostId":"2208739123","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2208739123","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1643900267,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2208739123?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-02-03 22:57","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T Can't Ignore This Any Longer","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2208739123","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"The nation's wireless industry is being rattled by newcomers nobody saw coming just a few years ago.","content":"
\n
The titans of the wireless telecom world aren't facing an existential crisis. But the industry's powerhouses T-Mobile (NASDAQ:TMUS), Verizon (NYSE:VZ), and AT&T (NYSE:T) can't afford to keep their heads stuck in the sand any longer either. The country's top two cable television companies -- already serving more than 66 million telco customers between them -- are making inroads with their wireless service efforts. In fact, both Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) and Charter Communications (NASDAQ:CHTR) just saw their best-ever quarterly wireless customer additions, netting a collective total of 692,000 subscribers. It sounds like an issue worth phoning home about.Cableco wireless is coming on strongApparently, the nation's top two broadband and cable TV names are no longer fringe wireless service providers. They're quickly becoming contenders. Charter's Spectrum brand now boasts 3.5 million customers, and Comcast's Xfinity has just under 4 million paying subscribers. That's a solid result for an effort Comcast began in 2017 and Charter began one year later.Data source: Comcast Corp. and Charter Communications Inc. Chart by author. While not shown on the chart (since it's not your typical cable company), DISH Network (NASDAQ:DISH) is also chipping away at the mobile business. Its Boost Mobile serves nearly 8.8 million customers as of the end of its third quarter. For perspective, AT&T handles around 100 million wirelessly connected devices. Verizon's got around 115 million customers. T-Mobile's in between there with 106 million wireless subscribers. Comcast and Charter aren't exactly in a position to destroy the wireless telecom industry's much bigger providers. At the other end of the spectrum, though, none of the wireless industry's giants can afford to ignore Charter and Comcast any longer. Pew Research says 97% of Americans now own a mobile phone, meaning any meaningful market growth from the mostly saturated market is linked to population growth. From that standpoint, the 7.5 million mobile phone consumers Charter and Comcast now serve are critically important. They could have been (and arguably should have been) someone else's customers.Perhaps the most concerning aspect of the cable industry's foray into the world of wireless service is that their growth is still accelerating rather than decelerating. Last quarter was another record-breaker in terms of Charter and Comcast's wireless subscriber growth. Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile have been mostly unwilling or unable to stymie the budding competition.Time for AT&T and Verizon to answer tough questionsThere are natural stumbling blocks for both nascent wireless services. Spectrum Mobile is only offered to Spectrum internet customers. Likewise, Comcast's Xfinity Mobile is only available to Xfinity broadband subscribers. Both services rely on wholesale access to towers and infrastructure already operated by AT&T and Verizon. And both also rely on their own broadband infrastructure to handle the connection load when a customer is within reach of Spectrum and Xfinity networks -- a benefit DISH can't tap into. Neither would be able to offer ultra-low-price mobile plans without their existing broadband platforms. For that reason, don't look for either provider to venture into geographical markets where their TV and high-speed internet businesses aren't already entrenched. On the other hand, with 66 million customers of at least one of their services, Comcast and Charter don't necessarily have to expand to make waves for AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile.The opportunity here for Charter and Comcast is not enough (yet) to make these cable company stocks more of a buy than they would be without their budding mobile businesses. It's not even enough to make the mainstream wireless providers less ownable than they would be if they were not facing new competition. It is enough, however, for T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon investors to start asking questions about what these companies intend to do about this new threat. There's already very little room left for customer growth. The cable industry's entry into the market shrinks that small opportunity down to an even smaller size.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"T":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2849,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9091559268,"gmtCreate":1643903416981,"gmtModify":1676533870002,"author":{"id":"3574550472976902","authorId":"3574550472976902","name":"SYFU","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7e9e3d2d44a5d4d299cb39a2cdbcbae1","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574550472976902","authorIdStr":"3574550472976902"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ohhh","listText":"Ohhh","text":"Ohhh","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9091559268","repostId":"1104031835","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1104031835","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1643900348,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1104031835?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-02-03 22:59","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Amazon Slid Over 6% Ahead of Posting Its Financial Result","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1104031835","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Amazon slid over 6% ahead of posting its financial result.Amazon is due with its Q4 results in the a","content":"

Amazon slid over 6% ahead of posting its financial result.

Amazon is due with its Q4 results in the after-hours today, and is expected to report a profit of $3.43 per share on revenue of $137.6 billion, according to Capital IQ.

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html;
