For me specifically, I focus heavily on position sizing and never allow a single option contract to be more than 5% of my current fund
I do this because I actually in most cases plan on them expiring worthless because anything could happen and an option can actually go to zero while a Stock can’t (unless it’s a scam) 😆
I feel that people sometimes buy options contracts, and never actually accept losing the entire contract
Then something bad happens and they end up losing the entire contract, which is much more than they plan to lose in the first place, which is not good risk management
