SMCI: collected full premiums when when these sold calls expired worthless on 28th Feb.
Roller coaster week for SMCI and not for the faint hearted.
After having sold portion if my SMCI shares for 2 consecutive weeks when those covered calls expired in the money, this week was different.
When SMCI soared to >$60, I was resigned for all my shares to be called away each week since all my covered calls strikes were at or below $60.
Only to see SMCI fell back 38% just this week after earnings and filing its 10k report in time on 25th Feb.
Classic sell the news event.
Will continue to sell fresh calls to replace these and close up the gaps on my losses when possible. Will continue to reduce my positions on SMCI simply because I hold lots of it and taking the paper losses at the moment.
