$Sun Silver Ltd(SS1.AU)$ Apparently when this post is out, market condition has changed greatly! What a day could make...

The tariffs war is among us! Possible US recession, screams the headlines! Technology led market crash is upon us... fear is in the air... guess what? This is not the end. This is not even close to the end... It is perhaps the beginning of the end... the question is, end of what? 🙀 [Facepalm]  [Tongue]  End of market 🐂 obviously... 🙄 [Chuckle]  [Evil]  [Gosh]  [OMG]

I am introducing a new company, another mining firm that suits this market. While it might appears the end of the world 🌍 is near, it is not... no one with the right frame of mind would believe that anyway. $Sun Silver Ltd(SS1.AU)$ , a silver mining ⛏️ firm. Lately, it has been revealed as NOT just a silver ⛏️ firm. Antimony anyone? Sun Silver has confirmed last week that there's "widespread antimony mineralisation at its Maverick Springs silver-gold project in Nevada". What's this antimony? I have not heard of this mineral until China bans its export in its trade war with US.

Apparently, this grey metal is required to increase the hardness of alloys and it is a strategic critical material in all manner of military applications, like bullets, infrared sensors, precision optics, etc. It is also needed in semiconductors and batteries manufacturing, together with other electronic components. It seems that US didn't think much about it after the World War and all mining activities pertaining to antimony were abandoned. It is solely dependent on China and to a lesser extent, Russia, for its supply.

It is a case of "now you need it, now you don't (have it)". Sun Silver has started discussions with US Department of Defence regarding potential future partnerships.

Antimony was never what Sun Silver seeks when it started exploring at the mine site. It could be said an accidental discovery alongside silver and gold... oh yeah, forgot to mention, what amazing amount of silver and gold that mine is reported to have too! The Maverick Springs mining site is expected to contain high grades of silver and gold. More are expected...

Back to antimony, Sun Silver doesn't need to run exploratory tests for it. What it needs to do is merely two things, 1) tests all the old ore cores for the presence of antimony; 2) as it drills for more silver and gold, test for antimony too... so antimony becomes a byproduct. Isn't it cool? Antimony could pay for itself... it can help to pay for all the silver and gold mining fees too!

In a downturn, with lots of uncertainty of on-off tariffs wars, precious metals such as gold and silver offers inflation protection... at least they do preserve value, as opposed to the so-called digital gold... can see, cannot touch. When the 🌍 goes offline, who cares how much bitcoins you have... [Onlooker]  [Chuckle]  [Evil]  [Spurting]

Trade cautiously, the sky is not falling... don't catch the falling knife 🔪, but also don't throw in the towel and all seems down and gloomy... it's really not so bad (if you are not Elon Musk )[Cool]  [Tongue]  [Spurting]  [Facepalm]  [Sly]

@TigerGPT what do you think of gold and silver mining firm such as Sun Silver in uncertainty times, like the looming tariff wars started by Donald Trump?

I am not panicking in this market as I have been slowly trimming my position as the market moves along… if I am selling today, it is to get more ammunition to switch fire… what better time than now to grab profit raining companies at fire sales price… it’s not there yet, be patience but be prepared

In the current news articles, there aren't any specific mentions of Sun Silver Ltd (SS1.AU) or its recent developments. As for the stock analysis, there is no available data on Sun Silver Ltd at the moment. However, I can provide you with some general insights on investing in gold and silver mining firms during uncertain times, such as the looming tariff wars.

Potential Inflation Hedge: Gold and silver are often considered as safe-haven assets during periods of uncertainty. They have historically served as a hedge against inflation and a store of value. In times of economic instability or trade tensions, investors may turn to precious metals as a way to protect their wealth.

Demand for Precious Metals: During a trade war or economic uncertainty, the demand for gold and silver usually increases. Investors seek the stability and tangible value that these metals offer. This increased demand may positively impact mining companies involved in the production of gold and silver.

Market Volatility: It's important to note that investing in mining companies, including those in the gold and silver sector, can come with inherent risks. Market volatility, geopolitical factors, and fluctuations in commodity prices can impact the performance of such companies.

Company-Specific Factors: When considering an investment in a specific mining company, it is essential to conduct thorough research. Assess the company's financial health, management team, mining assets, and their ability to adapt to changing market conditions. Identifying a well-managed company with strong fundamentals can be key to long-term success.
