$U.S. Steel(X)$ The U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment (CFIUS) just passed the Nippon Steel–U.S. Steel acquisition case to President Trump. Word is, while opinions within CFIUS aren’t fully aligned, most members think any national security concerns can be addressed with mitigation measures. The White House confirmed it’s received the report, now it’s Trump’s call. He’s got 15 days to make a decision, though that deadline could slip.

Let’s not forget, Biden previously blocked the deal citing national security, which led to lawsuits claiming the review process was unfair. If this deal gets approved, Nippon Steel plans to invest $14 billion in U.S. operations,$4 billion of that just for a brand-new plant. Honestly, I’m just waiting on the final word. Once the decision is out and clear,I might just go all-in. Big risk, big reward. Let’s go.
