I have got my red t-shirt ready - the one that says "I love SG" without actually saying it because being subtle is a national art form. I will be surrounded by my fellow Singaporeans, all united by one thing : the ability to spot a good seat and a good deal.
When the fireworks go off, I will be cheering and clapping loudly. And when the national anthem Majullah Singapura plays, I will be standing tall, proud and saying to myself "This is my home, my beloved Singapore." πππ
But the real sparkle, it is not just in the sky. It is in the faces besides me - My daughter holding my hand and eyes lit up with wonder. My family gathered close, sharing snacks and that quiet joy that only comes when we are together.
Singapore is my home, my country. I love you soπ₯°
