🌟🌟🌟October closed with fireworks and I am still feeling the heat.  All 3 US Indexes surged and reached record highs.  

November continues.  I call it NovemBoom when earnings explode and portfolios flow.  Loud, proud and unapologetically bullish. 

2 Star Performers in my portfolio for October 

Alphabet 

$Alphabet(GOOGL)$  recently hit an all time high and crossed the USD 3 Trillion market cap milestone.  This was driven by blockbuster Q3 25 earnings and surging investor confidence in its AI leadership.  It became the 4th company in history to reach a USD 3 trillion market capitalisation.

Blockbuster Q3 25 Earnings 

Revenue : USD 102.3 billion, up 16% YoY

Net Income :  USD 34.98 billion, up from USD 28.52 last year

EPS : USD 2.87 beating analysts expectations of USD 2.33

YouTube Ad Revenue : USD 10.3 billion, up 15% YoY

Google Cloud Revenue : USD 14.64 billion   up 34% YoY with a USD 155 billion backlog

Alphabet's diversified growth across Search, Cloud and YouTube plus its AI momentum sent shares soaring.

My Take on Alphabet 

Alphabet is the infrastructure of the Internet, the engine of global search and now the architect of the AI era.  With revenue crossing USD 100 billion in just 1 quarter and Gemini AI scaling at warp speed, Alphabet isn't reacting to the future.  It is rewriting it.

I bought Alphabet at USD 115.88 and saw it dip below USD 100 after its Q3 2022 earnings which showed slowing ad revenue and rising costs.  Its lowest point was USD 83.34 on November 3 2022.

Market sentiment was shaky.  Tech was under pressure and Alphabet faced regulatory scrutiny and macro headwinds. 

I did not panic.  I did not sell.  I held on.   My conviction paid off.  I am up 142%.

Nvidia: AI Demand is still surging 

The recent Nvidia's GTC 2025 was a strategic triumph  - solidifying its role as the backbone of AI, quantum computing and next gen infrastructure.  The event's impact rippled across industries and reinforced my conviction. 

For those new investors: GTC or GPU Technology Conference is Nvidia's flagship event.  This is where CEO Jensen Huang will unveil breakthroughs in AI, accelerated computing and future tech.  The  2025 edition in Washington DC was especially pivotal.  It wasn't just about GPUs but about reindustrialising America and anchoring AI leadership. 

Key Highlights from GTC 2025

AI Infrastructure at Scale :  Nvidia laid out plans for secure government AI factories, digital twins and physical AI deployments. 

These are not just concepts.  They are blueprints for national transformation. 

Quantum and 6G Leadership : Nvidia showcased NVQLink for quantum computing and AI native 6G standards. 

This positions Nvidia at the heart of future connectivity and computation. 

Industry Adoption:  SHI International 's smart city AI solution in Vail Colorado, built in just 4 months , was a GTC showcase.  It is already saving lives through wild fire detection and disability compliance tech. 

Partner Ecosystem Expansion : Synopsys and Microsoft highlighted how Nvidia' s GPUs and AI platforms are accelerating chip design, manufacturing and real world engineering. 

Impact on Nvidia's Stock and Strategy :

GTC 2025 reinforced Nvidia's dominance in AI infrastructure, not just chips, but full stack solutions. 

GTC 2025 boosted investor confidence.  

Nvidia surged to an all time high after GTC 2025, closing at USD 201.03 and almost reaching a USD 5 Trillion market cap.  The rally was driven by groundbreaking announcements in AI, supercomputing and strategic partnerships that reinforced Nvidia's role as the backbone of the AI revolution. 

My Take on Nvidia 

In April this year, Nvidia hit its lowest point of the year, trading at USD 86.63 after Trump announced the tariffs.  The market was jittery.  Analysts questioned valuations.  Some called it overheated.  But I did not flinch.  I held on because I believe in Nvidia's critical role in the AI revolution. 

Fast forward October, Nvidia did not just recover.  It roared.  It surged past the USD 200 mark almost reaching a USD 5 trillion market cap. 

Concluding Thoughts : The Power of Belief and Holding on to Conviction 

There is quiet strength in holding on, especially when the markets are in turmoil. 

In April, Nvidia dipped to the lowest point of the year.  Alphabet was once doubted when it fell below USD 100 in 2022.   I held on, not because I had a crystal ball, but because I believe in them. 

I believe in the architecture of AI.  I believe in the power of platforms that shape how we search, learn and live. 

And belief, when paired with patience, isn't just emotional. It is exponential. 

Today Alphabet is a USD 3 Trillion while Nvidia is almost USD 5 Trillion.  In October, my portfolio did not just recover, it roared too. 

So here's to the final stretch of 2025.  From Uptober to NovemBoom and DecemBlaze.  To the power of belief and the beauty of holding on.
