$MSTR 20251107 220.0 PUT$

Friday opened on a bearish note, with MSTR briefly dipping below my cash-secured put strike. I was prepared to roll the position out if the slide continued, but the market staged a midday rebound that lifted MSTR back above my strike — escaping assignment risk for now. While this is a CSP position, I’ve got little intention of owning the underlying outright. Interestingly, MSTR is nearing its one-year mark in this bear channel since peaking at $543 last November. Friday’s intraday low actually marked the bottom of this current downtrend before the bounce. I’ll continue working short-dated CSPs (1–2 weeks out) to stay nimble and keep refining strike entries near emerging support zones.

Why does MSTR trade at a premium to the underlying bitcoin it holds (175%)? Should bitcoin reach $291,000 MSTR would be trading on par.

MSTR trades at a premium because it’s effectively a leveraged proxy for Bitcoin — you’re not just buying the BTC on its balance sheet but an access to that leverage, liquidity, and Saylor’s narrative. MSTR isn’t a static Bitcoin ETF — it’s a moving target that amplifies BTC’s upside.

Smart move staying nimble! Rolling CSPs will help manage that risk while you refine your strategy.
