$NVDA$

$NVDA$

Following Trump’s comments hinting at his preferred Fed chair nominee, the market initially gapped up before fading, leaving a clear bearish upper wick. Interestingly, a large amount of downside exposure was closed out — including 28k contracts of this week’s 165P $NVDA 20251205 165.0 PUT$  — suggesting short sellers are easing off immediate aggressive bets.

Bearish headlines such as OpenAI pausing ads to speed up new model releases and Amazon advancing its custom chips had surprisingly little negative effect on $NVDA$.

For now, the likely closing range for the week appears to be $180–185.

$SPY$

The threat of a sudden drop toward 650 has lessened. That said, a pullback into the 670 area remains possible. Overall trend still leans toward a retest of the prior high near 689.

$AAPL$

$AAPL$ continues to lead the tech rebound, though price action will likely remain choppy between $280–290 this week and next.

A major bullish order appeared in the Dec 12th 290C $AAPL 20251212 290.0 CALL$ , reinforcing the top of this range — but also adding overhead supply. Breaking above 290 next week may be difficult unless that position unwinds.

$INTC$

The explosive upside phase looks to be cooling off. The $INTC 20260116 45.0 CALL$  saw 19.7k contracts closed for profit-taking. Meanwhile, the sizable short-term call position in the $INTC 20251219 44.0 CALL$  was rolled up to the $INTC 20260116 55.0 CALL$ , indicating traders are shifting expectations toward slower follow-through.

$TSLA$

Bearish call-flow continues:

This suggests $TSLA$ may face significant difficulty breaking above the $440–450 zone into year-end, possibly influenced by renewed pressure from well-known short sellers.
