The 5% intraday move off that KAIST update just felt different. They pulled the launch forward to Thursday arvo NZT and it’s already their 19th mission this year. Then they’ve got the JAXA one after that which makes the whole flow feel way more controlled. It’s the first time in a while the structure has actually held without wobbling. Tbh the space sector hype is firing again with everyone talking about a possible SpaceX IPO in 2026. Kinda feels like if that really happens it lifts everything with it. You can see positioning shift whenever the sentiment spikes. Rocket Lab is one of the only names that actually moves on real work not just noise. And that CSA award was nicer than people think. Just under a million CAD to build a medium class reaction wheel for 500 to 1000 kg spacecraft and the Toronto team gets the project. It’s part of a wider $14.2M CAD programme but the signal is strong. Agencies don’t hand out hardware work unless they trust the team to deliver. I’m still long and I like how clean the momentum looks. Volatility is there but the trend finally feels aligned. If they keep stacking launches like this the whole vibe around the name shifts.
