Option Strategies: WMT, FIG& PANW

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some option strategies with you!

1.

$Palo Alto Networks(PANW)$ announces earnings after the closing bell on Tuesday this week. Expected move is ~8%.

Still going to continue playing these optionselling trades conservatively. Targeting the 120 or 125 strike for put-write trades, Feb 20 expiry.

Will also strangle with naked calls, strike in the 200-220 range depending on available premium, Feb 20 expiry.

2.

$Figma(FIG)$ announces earnings after market close on Wednesday. Expected move is ~13%. Has FIG reached bottom? Gotta assume that expectations are low going into this earnings print.

Like many tech IPOs, this stock was pumped up so that large/institutional pre-IPO investors and insiders could exit at big profit while employees and small non-insider pre-IPO investors get stuck holding the bag during lock-up while the price gets dumped down.

Looking at optionselling put-write trades, Feb 20 expiry, strikes in the 15-20 range. Strike selection will depend on how aggressive we want to be and if we think FIG has bottomed and earnings will come in positive.

3.

$Wal-Mart(WMT)$ announces earnings before market open on Thursday. Expected move is 5-6%.

Targeting strikes in the 100-110 range for a put-write trade to play earnings, Feb 20 or 27 expiry.
