$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ TSMC plans to open a chip packaging plant in Arizona by 2029, so they won't have to keep shipping AI chips back to Taiwan for advanced packaging.
TSMC also showed smaller and faster chips without needing ASML's pricey new tool.
TSMC debuted A13 technology at the 2026 North America Technology Symposium.
One of the more reputable analysts from Barclay maintains an Overweight rating on TSMC and raised the price target to $470. TSMC is still trading at what feels like a Walmart special price of $382. Why would anyone be surprised to see it still discounted so much really beats me.
