Happy Labor day!

PM Wong recounting the evacuation of Singaporeans (and others) from Israel via a Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) flight during the conflict.

The 2 minutes of tears are for the cameras, but the anxiety is for the citizens.

We are told to 'upskill' and 'stay relevant' while the cost of living hits record highs and AI looms and new arrivals are coming  over for our rice bowls. 'Protecting workers' is just a slogan if we can’t afford to live in the city we’re working in. Stop monitoring and start mitigating the real costs.

I propose the immediate formation of a High-Level Steering Committee to oversee the ongoing monitoring of our monitoring framework. We must ensure our 'wait-and-see' approach is being executed with maximum efficiency

We don't need a PM who feels our pain; we need a PM who fixes the math

Not sure what there is to cry about when taxpayer money is used for evacuation especially when we see so many elderly still working just to get by, people being retrenched, and tragic cases in the news where individuals fall from height to end their suffering
