Why I Held $RKLB Through Volatility šŸ‘€

I don't use stop losses like that.

I have two forks in the road when it comes to managing a position.

1) level management

2) thesis management

For my style (swing trading equity), a hybrid of both works best.

Level management includes:

- technical levels

- stop loss

- profit target

If stock hits one of those levels, I manage accordingly…but I do have flexibility here.

Thesis management:

- has the thesis changed?

- become stronger or weaker?

- still fully intact?

If a stock’s thesis remains solid, I stay in almost automatic. But I have zero flexibility here. Thesis breaks = I’m out.

Those are the two parts.

If thesis breaks, I’m fully out.

If levels break, I’m *usually* out.

Because key levels are important, but thesis + narrative matter more for me personally.

For example, I’ve given $Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$ a super long leash the past month(s) because although it chopped around + tested some of my levels, the thesis was stronger than ever…so I held.
