The US session handed Asia a clean bid — ES up 42 handles, with NQ carrying the load at +422. VIX backed off to 16.45, so the vol market is confirming the move rather than warning. That's the handoff. What Asia does with it in the first 30 minutes of their session will set the tone for the London approach.

The options structure is the tell for the overnight session. SPY is at 746.77 with the call wall sitting at 750 — three points of clear air before that ceiling asserts itself. QQQ is already pressing 740, which is its call wall. Both products are running in negative gamma, meaning the dealer hedging dynamic amplifies moves in either direction — a fade here gets messy fast, and a push through 750 on SPY or 740 on QQQ requires real volume to sustain. Neither gamma flip is in immediate danger — SPY at 740.27, QQQ at 726.62 — but those are the downside references if Asia decides to redistribute the US gains rather than extend them.

Gold at 4017 remains elevated and isn't fading alongside the equities bid, which keeps a cross-asset tension alive in the background. Oil is essentially flat at 70.11, not injecting volatility in either direction. DXY is quiet at 101.26 — dollar neutrality isn't a headwind for the overnight risk tone, which is about the best you can ask for at this juncture.

Watch zones into London: the SPY 750 call wall is the ceiling — a stall there versus a clean print through it is the defining question on the tape. Below, the 740.27 gamma flip is the line that holds the bid structure; if that cracks, negative gamma gets amplified in a hurry. QQQ 740 is the same dynamic in its own name. On ES, the 7500 round number is your downside reference and 7544 is the current extension — Asia tends to probe round numbers when the US session leaves price this close to them.
