It seems to me that humanoid robotics is moving into the commercialization phase. The question is less about who has the best tech and more about who can scale up first.
Agility Robotics looks to have a current edge in commercialization, with real-world deployments and backing from Amazon, NVIDIA, SoftBank, and Foxconn. Tesla Optimus still holds enormous long-term potential, given Tesla's manufacturing scale and ecosystem. Figure has impressive technology, but still needs to prove it can handle large-scale production and turn a profit.
For investors, the key metrics go beyond just valuation—it's about customer adoption, production volume, cost efficiency, and cash flow. Those are the factors that will likely determine the long-term winners.
I don't see this becoming a winner-takes-all industry. There's room for multiple leaders as the market matures.
