Regis Healthcare (ASX:REG) entered into a binding agreement to acquire the home care business of Royal Freemasons Homes of Victoria, adding approximately 480 clients to expand its Victorian service footprint.

The transaction follows previous strategic expansions by the company, including the acquisition of BodeWell Community Care and two Mornington Peninsula homes in prior periods.

“Royal Freemasons is a well-regarded home care provider that strengthens Regis’ existing operations and expands our scale in Melbourne,” said Regis CEO Andrew Kinkade.

The company stated that the transaction is expected to increase annualised home care revenue by more than $10 million to approximately $50 million, with completion anticipated in the second quarter of financial year 2027.

Following the announcement, the Regis share price was down at $6.19.

Over recent years, the business has actively pursued regional and metropolitan growth through major transactions, including the acquisition of Rockpool RAC Holdings in July 2025 and multiple residential aged care facilities across Queensland and Victoria.

The portfolio adjustments align with the group's long-term strategy to expand its operational reach, capture growing senior demographic demand, and integrate premium assets into its national care network.
