$MARA Holdings(MARA)$

MARA remains one of the more interesting listed stocks for investors who are bullish on Bitcoin and comfortable with substantial volatility.

The attraction is straightforward: when Bitcoin enters a strong bullish cycle, major Bitcoin miners can sometimes deliver amplified moves because investors are gaining exposure not only to Bitcoin prices but also to the economics and operating leverage of the mining business.

That leverage works both ways, which makes MARA significantly riskier than simply owning Bitcoin. Mining difficulty, energy costs, dilution and Bitcoin volatility all need to be considered.

Overall: MARA is definitely high risk, but for investors expecting another major Bitcoin rally, its volatility and scale are exactly what make the stock interesting.

  • Mining difficulty and power costs matter more here tbh. If BTC runs, sure, but does the operating leverage still hold after dilution?
