Look Back, Trade Forward | Reflect on August, Plan for September
August was a month worth looking back on, not just because of the numbers, but because of the lessons, discipline, and small wins along the way.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to earn a few thousand dollars through my trades last month. These wins are more than just P&L on a screen, they’re slowly becoming future vacation funds, a reminder that consistent execution can create something meaningful beyond the market.
One of the things I enjoyed most last month was taking the time to share the Iron Condor as a playbook, breaking down the idea of defined risk, positioning, probability, and patience. Writing about the strategy also made me reflect on my own process. Sometimes, teaching what you trade helps you understand your own trading even better.
Looking back at August:
• Celebrate the wins, but stay humble.
• Review what worked and what didn’t.
• Keep risk defined.
• Focus on process over excitement.
• Let profits serve a purpose beyond the trading account.
Looking forward to September:
New month, fresh setups, same discipline.
The goal isn’t to force more trades or chase bigger numbers. It’s to keep improving, keep learning, and let good habits compound alongside the capital.
And hopefully, I’ll make more time to write, share, and document the journey in the months ahead.
Grateful for August.
Focused on September.
Look back. Trade forward. ✈️📈
