Sentiment Is Very Stable Ahead of Triple Witching

30-year Treasury yields hit another new high, and oil prices continued rising, breaking above $100. Trump said oil prices won't fall until after the midterm elections — meaning there's one last push higher — so oil prices duly rallied first. The broader market dipped slightly. As long as Friday's CPI isn't too outrageous, the likely outcome is a dip-and-rebound.

$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$

Judging from call openings, the target for this MUSE-driven move is 700, with many large block trades opening $META 20261002 670.0 CALL$  $META 20261016 800.0 CALL$ . But whether it can reach that level and the path it takes are unknown. In other words, with so many buyers, it's less likely to fall easily — but whether those buyers can actually lift it is another matter. For Sell Put, 610 is an option $META 20260918 610.0 PUT$.

$Apple(AAPL)$

The phone launch event didn't generate much buzz. Apple continues to play the role of market stabilizer, and is expected to keep oscillating between 300 and 330. Sell Calls on strength, Sell Puts on weakness.

$Micron Technology(MU)$

Expected to oscillate between 800 and 1,100 before Triple Witching — after that, it's anyone's guess. Theoretically, there should be a pullback before Anthropic's IPO. However, Anthropic will likely drop a bombshell model to save the day before its listing, and since chip sector interests are highly aligned with closed-source models, a dramatic crash seems unlikely. Consider selling the 900 Put $MU 20260918 900.0 PUT$.

$SpaceX(SPCX)$

SPCX has a 38,000-contract 155 Sell Call block trade $SPCX 20260918 155.0 CALL$ . It can't rally much, but it also can't fall much — similar to Tesla's trend. I suspect both companies are run by the same market maker. Given the short-squeeze risk on Sell Calls, consider selling Puts on a pullback to the 20-day MA $SPCX 20260918 135.0 PUT$.
