You Don’t Need 50 Stocks. You Need 4–8 Good Ones
I’m laying out all 8 steps of the swing strategy I want you to learn over the next 8 weeks.
Each week, focus on ONE step. Don’t rush it. The goal is to build a repeatable process you can actually follow.
1️⃣ Trade with the bull market
This strategy is designed for a bull market.
The current cycle is still relatively young in my framework, so I want to stay focused on buying strong companies during healthy pullbacks rather than fighting the bigger trend.
2️⃣ Focus on strength
Keep your watchlist concentrated around AI and companies with positive, growing revenue and EPS.
Names I’m watching include:
$Apple(AAPL)$ $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ $Alphabet(GOOG)$ $NEBIUS(NBIS)$ $Bloom Energy Corp(BE)$ $ServiceNow(NOW)$ $Micron Technology(MU)$
You don’t need every stock.
You need the right stocks.
3️⃣ Wait for DAILY support 🎯
This is where patience matters.
Let the stock come down to a meaningful support level on the daily chart. Recent examples I’ve highlighted include $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ $Micron Technology(MU)$ $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$.
I’d rather buy strength after a controlled pullback than chase a stock after it already runs.
4️⃣ Find the next setup 👀
If you want to follow along, reshare this post and comment “swing.”
I’ll share the next setup I’m watching.
$GOOG, for example, is getting oversold while having potential catalysts ahead. That’s the kind of situation I want on the radar.
5️⃣ Add calls at support 📞
When price reaches support, I want to see buyers and volume actually show up.
That confirmation matters.
For options, I generally want at least 2–3 weeks of time, while some setups can justify much longer expirations, even several months.
6️⃣ Then let the trade work
This is a swing trade.
If $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ has a major September selloff and breaks below $740, that could create an interesting opportunity to start looking for strong stocks to swing over several months.
I’m watching the seasonal setup too. Historically, October has often been stronger after weak September periods, but I still want price action to confirm the trade. 📊
7️⃣ Don’t sell just because you’re bored
This may be the hardest part.
You find the setup.
You enter.
Then nothing happens.
That’s when traders start overtrading, taking profits too early or jumping into another position simply because they feel like they need to do something.
Sometimes the best trade is the one you leave alone.
8️⃣ Build a focused watchlist
Start now.
💰 Account under $2K → follow around 4 stocks
💰 Account under $10K → follow around 8 stocks
Keep it manageable.
You don’t need 30 names screaming for your attention every day.
You need a small group of high-quality stocks, clear support levels and the patience to wait for your setup.
🎯 Strong stocks
📉 Pullback to support
📊 Buyers + volume
📞 Defined option setup
⏳ Give the trade time
🧠 Don’t overtrade
That’s the whole idea.
Keep it simple. Learn one step each week, build the process, and let the setups come to you. 🚀📈
