$Silvercorp Metals Inc(SVM)$ It has not been a good week for precious metals group related investments. It has been a strange one though. One that I had struggled to hold above water with my current positioning of neutrality. I guess I have weighed too heavily towards precious metals and critical metals.

$Silvercorp Metals Inc(SVM)$ is still going strong despite the week's mayhem.

With the active war between US and Iran, oil prices have been rising, raising the prospect of global inflationary pressure. EU has just raised its interest rate. Japan, Australia and probably US are all expected to raise their interest rates to combat inflation. Strangely, technology companies' shares prices rebounded. Gold and silver prices, together with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies corrected.

If you had followed my posts, you would know I am not a fan of cryptocurrency. I still don't even they follow the general dedollarisation theme. Call me 🦕 🦖, I prefer hard assets any day. Things conjure out of thin air is what it is... thin air...

Don't be surprised if one follows the other. Conversely, I won't be surprised if they go their separate ways. The motivation cannot be more different, so is their non-correlation.

It seems appropriate that I let time tell the story for us. I am expecting the coming week to make things clearer for direction in general, for both indices and precious metals group... so till next time...

I'd buy-in the dips. SVM definitely upsurge if U.S Fed didn't increase interest rate coming Wed FOMC.
