“I hope that out of President Trump and President Xi’s meeting this week that there is progress, because there the truth is they’re the big two giants here, and so we want to see cooperation,” said Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
The Australian government plans to introduce national AI standards by the end of the year alongside discussions on creator copyright protections.
The Australian leadership previously highlighted national advantages such as renewable energy capacity, stable legal infrastructure, and Five Eyes membership to attract frontier technology investment.
The government stated it intends to maintain existing intellectual property principles for artists while establishing international technological frameworks.
