I hold a long term bullish view. Past 2 days the SG banking stocks had been beaten down. Instead of panic sell, I decided to accumulate more (100 shares @$28.88). No worries 🤗!
When I started my stock investment journeya couple of decades ago, I meant to buy DBS. It was at $25. With a board lot size of 1000, that would mean I have to tighten my belt and live on fresh air and water thereafter. I bought OCBC instead @$4 then. Later I accumulated more @$8,... before I moved on to DBS and UOB.
Time has proven that my dummy strategy beats inflation multiple folds.
I am glad the board lot size is now 10. It enables the young ones to start the investment journey young and early.
Gone were the days when my parents told me money must only be parked in Savings and Time Deposits!!!
