Trading Strategies: .SPX, AAOI, SMH& QQQ

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading strategies with you!

1

$Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$

Trade Idea: October 21 705P

Trigger: 711 ✅

Targets: 705, 700 🎯

Stop: 715 🛑

QQQ dropped 7.2% the past 2 weeks.

QQQ dropped from 762 to 707.

If We see another pull back this week it’s possible QQQ drops to 685-693.

This will be the buy zone assuming we see more weakness in the market.

I’d be careful with any gap up moves or intraday rallies especially if QQQ can get back above 722.

$S&P 500(.SPX)$ Trade Ideas

Bullish: Oct 21 7750C

Trigger: 7700 ✅

Targets: 7750, 7772 🎯

Stop: 7669 🛑

Bearish: Oct 21 7600P

Trigger: 7669 ✅

Target: 7600 🎯

Stop: 7700 🛑

SPX had a sharp sell off after CPI this past week.

SPX closed at 7659 on Friday.

If SPX fails to hold near 7620 we can see a deeper correction to 7500 before a bottom forms.

We have tech earnings starting this week with META IBM LRCX TXN TSLA.

Then we have FOMC the following week.

If SPX can dip near 7500 and hold, thats the buy zone.

For now we can see more volatility under 7700.

We need to see some panic in the market for the market to capitulate and bottom.

I’d stay bearish under 7700 this week.

$VanEck Semiconductor ETF(SMH)$ Trade Idea: Nov 27 550C

Trigger: 525 ✅

Target: 550 🎯

Stop: 515 🛑

$VanEck Semiconductor ETF(SMH)$, The next 4, 5 days could tell us a lot.

Watching to see if chip stocks can start to bottom and build a base.

Key support: $538, $525, and $500.

If we see more downside, here’s how I’d scale into my planned position: 25% at $535 25% at $525 50% at $500 Around $538, I’m watching how price reacts.

Are buyers stepping in?

Are the major chip names holding their lows, or does every bounce keep getting sold?

I want to see selling pressure slow, higher lows develop, and more names participate in the recovery.

One green day isn’t enough.

These allocations are percentages of my planned SMH position, with total risk defined before the first entry.

If the setup deteriorates, I reassess rather than automatically completing every buy.

I don’t need to catch the exact bottom.

I want to build a position with a plan.

Be patient.

Let the levels come to you.

$Applied Optoelectronics(AAOI)$ Trade Idea: Nov 27 90C

Trigger: 76 ✅

Targets: 93, 100 🎯

Stop: 70 🛑

$Applied Optoelectronics(AAOI)$ has lost 67% of its value since its May 13th all-time high.

Now it’s approaching a level that has my attention: $76.

A massive drawdown doesn’t automatically make a stock cheap.

I want to see buyers step in and defend support.

Here’s my plan:

Watching $76 for selling to slow and a base to form.

A flush below $76 followed by a strong reclaim would get my attention.

I want to see that reclaim HOLD.

From there, I’m looking for a higher low and a break above the bounce high to confirm buyers are gaining control.

If we lose $76 and keep rejecting it from below, I’ll stay patient.

Support can become resistance.

On a confirmed setup, I’d define my invalidation below the setup low and size accordingly.

First target is $100, taking partials and leaving a runner if momentum follows.

I don’t need to catch the exact bottom.

I need a clean setup with defined risk.

$76 is the level to start buying.

$65 is where I would load up more.
