Alibaba Reports Strong Q2 Financial Results with Revenue Growth and AI-Driven Expansion

Alibaba announced its Q2 financial results, reporting revenue of RMB 247,795 million, a 5% year-over-year increase. The company achieved a net income of RMB 20,612 million and an adjusted net income of RMB 10,352 million. Earnings per share (EPS) stood at RMB 1.09, with an adjusted EPS of RMB 0.55. Revenue growth was driven by investments in one-hour delivery, cloud services, and AI-related products, with the Cloud Intelligence Group seeing 34% revenue growth. Despite a decline in operating income and adjusted EBITA due to investments in quick commerce and technology, Alibaba's focus on AI and enhanced efficiencies supported strong performance in e-commerce and cloud segments.
