$ST Engineering(S63.SI)$   is on my watchlist at $10.05. My target price has been reached, but I'm still holding back from entering. At $10.05, the price could find support and rebound. But if the selling pressure continues, we could see it dip further towards **$9.80**. For now, I'm watching patiently. I want to see the price stabilise, turn upwards, and show clear signs of rising momentum before making my move. No rush to buy just because it has reached my target price. A target price gets my attention, but the price action helps me decide when to enter. **Patience first. Confirmation next. Entry only when the momentum supports it.**

$Keppel(BN4.SI)$ On My Watchlist at $10** Keppel has reached my watchlist price of $10, but I’m not rushing in just because it has hit my target. 🎯 My next level to watch is $9.50. If the price pulls back further, I may get a better entry point with a wider margin of safety. For now, I’ll continue monitoring the price action and wait for a potential **point of inflection**, where selling pressure eases and the trend starts showing signs of turning. A stock reaching my target price doesn’t automatically mean it’s time to buy. 📉 Buying the Dip? Three Questions I Ask Before Adding to a Stock

A stock falls 15%. Is it now a bargain, or is the market warning you about something? When markets turn volatile, investors often hear the same advice: buy the dip. The logic sounds simple. If you liked a company at a higher price, shouldn’t you like it even more after a decline? Not necessarily. A falling share price can create an opportunity, but it can also reflect weaker earnings expectations, expensive valuations or risks that investors previously underestimated. Rather than trying to guess the market bottom, I think it helps to separate a temporary price decline from a deterioration in the underlying business. 🔍 1. Has the Investment Case Changed? Before buying a stock after a sharp decline, I would revisit why the market valued it highly in the first place. Consider three examples.

My Take: Staying Calm and Finding Opportunities During the Latest Market Pullback. The latest market pullback reminds me of one important lesson in investing: the market does not always move in the direction we expect, and sometimes patience is more valuable than trying to predict every move. When I see stock prices falling, my first instinct is not to panic-sell everything. Instead, I take a step back and review my portfolio. Is the decline caused by short-term market sentiment, concerns about interest rates, or a genuine deterioration in the company's business fundamentals? Understanding the reason behind the drop helps me make more rational decisions rather than reacting emotionally to red numbers on my screen. One stock I would keep on my watchlist is NVIDIA (NVDA). Buying the Dip? I Am Buying Earnings, Not Red Candles.

The market has finally given investors something we have not had much of this year: Better prices. But a stock falling 10% does not automatically make it 10% more attractive. My rule for this dip is simple: Buy companies where the price has deteriorated faster than the business. Right now, my shopping list is MU, NVDA, META, CRCL and QQQ, but at very different levels. 🥇 MU: MY HIGHEST-CONVICTION DIP BUY Micron has been hit by the combination of memory-cycle fears, CXMT concerns and the broader technology selloff. But the question is whether HBM demand and earnings power have deteriorated as quickly as the share price. I do not think they have. 🚦 My levels 🟡 $860-$890: Starter position 🟢 $800-$840: Preferred Pick 🟢 $740-$790: Strong Pick 🔴 Below $740: Reassess the thesis If MU reaches $800-

Buying the Dip? The Biggest Mistake Is Buying Without a Plan The market is fearful. But before buying the dip, ask yourself one question: would you still want to own this stock if it fell another 15%? After last week’s sharp technology sell-off, investors have a familiar dilemma: buy now, wait for a deeper correction, or sit on the sidelines because there is little cash left. The fear is real. On October 16, the VIX jumped more than 21% to close near 20, while CNN’s Fear & Greed Index dropped to 18, its Extreme Fear zone. The VIX eased to around 18.7 on October 19, but sentiment remained weak. Is this a buying opportunity? Potentially. But extreme fear is a signal to reassess prices, not proof that the market has bottomed. 1. A market correction is normal, not necessarily a crisis Inve

Investing 101 Series: Spotlight on Hong Kong SDRs - 5 Undervalued SDRs To Consider Buying

🌟🌟🌟 Let's be honest: looking at recent performance, the Hong Kong market requires a strong stomach and a large box of tissues.  The Hang Seng Index has felt less like a sophisticated financial hub and more like a malfunctioning elevator.  Between macroeconomic jitters and international investors sitting on their hands, Hong Kong equities have taken a huge structural beating. But as any veteran investor will tell you, a depressed market is exactly where generational wealth is built.  When everyone else is panicking, the bargain bins open up. Welcome to Investing 101: The SDR Series Part 2.  Today's spotlight is on the high octane, deeply discounted world of Hong Kong SDRs. Thanks to Singapore Depository Receipts (SDRs), you can load up on Hong Kong's most resilient mega

Investing 101: The Art of Buying the Dip - Why SReits Are the Ultimate Lobang Even When They Are Dropping

🌟🌟🌟Watching your Singapore Real Estate Investment Trusts (SReits) drop can feel like watching someone putting condensed milk into your pristine Kopi-O. It is painful, slightly tragic and makes you want to question your investment thesis. But let's pause and look at the bigger picture.  When prices drop, dividend yields go up.  Think of it as a nationwide warehouse sale on Singapore's prime real estate.  You are not just buying random numbers on a screen.  You are essentially buying a brick on ION Orchard, a pane of glass in a high tech data centre, or a square metre of a bustling heartland mall.  The tenants are still paying rent, Singaporeans are still shopping in aircon malls, and by law, these SReits must pay out at least 90% of their taxable income to you.

📉 Navigating the Market Pullback: Why I’m Selling Puts and Buying the Dip on CIFR and COIN The recent market weakness has certainly tested investor patience. While pullbacks can feel uncomfortable, they also offer some of the best entry points for long-term investors who have been waiting on the sidelines for valuations to cool down. When evaluating whether to "buy the dip" or stay cautious, I follow a disciplined strategy rather than emotional instinct. With "flight to safety" capital rushing into big tech and blue-chip stocks boasting bulletproof cash flows, mid-term macro worries have introduced a fresh wave of uncertainty to Mr. Market—and as we know, the market hates uncertainty. Expect more volatility ahead! Here is how I am navigating the current market dynamics, deploying cash,

MU at $878: Is This Finally the Buyable Flush, or Is $800 Coming Next?

$Micron Technology(MU)$   Micron closed Friday at $878.84, down another 5.63%. From the five-day chart, MU has fallen from above $1,030 to below $880. This is no longer a routine dip. It is a full repricing of the memory trade. But there is an important contradiction: the stock is pricing a substantial deterioration in the memory cycle while the evidence that Micron's AI-memory economics have actually collapsed is still much weaker. That makes next week very interesting. 🔴 WHY MU KEEPS FALLING Three fears have collided. First, CXMT. Investors are worried its progress in server DRAM eventually introduces enough supply to weaken pricing power. Second, the broader AI trade has suffered a confidence shock. Nasdaq fell
