🌟🌟🌟DBS $DBS Group Holdings(D05.SI)$  is one Singapore stock that I feel I could retire on as I am currently up 100% on DBS.  Slow and steady is my favourite way of investing.  Just buy and hold great quality stocks that tick all the core fundamentals of profitability, rock solid balance sheet and great management team.  DBS is certainly such an amazing stock. I do not try to time the market as it is an impossible task that not even the best analysts can get it right all the time.   Instead just dollar cost average using Tiger Brokers' excellent Auto Invest feature and allow the magic of compounding to happen over time.  Investing does not have to be complicated.  Buy and hold

Which Stock Made You Feel Like You Could Retire with One Big Win?

@Tiger_comments
In the world of investing, there’s always that one stock that makes you think, “If I catch this one, I’ll be financially free.” Recently, $SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$ has given one investor exactly that feeling.A perfect dip-buy and inverse WSB: retirement is so close?Two weeks ago, a WSB investor timed the dip in SMCI perfectly and earn £289,384.58 (about $357,000). He believes the company remains strong and undervalued. As long as it successfully files its 10-K report and improves internal financial management, market confidence could be restored. He believes that if SMCI meets its earnings guidance, the stock could hit $150+ this year.He’s confident because this isn’t his first big win. Back during $Re

Warren's Wallet: Fortress or War Chest? Berkshire’s Billion-Dollar Ballet

The Oracle of Omaha has spoken—or rather, he's let his balance sheet do the talking. Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway wrapped up Q4 with a jaw-dropping $334 billion in cash, sending investors into a frenzy of speculation. With equity sales outpacing new investments, it begs the question: is this a masterclass in patience or a subtle warning of trouble ahead? Let’s peel back the layers and see what’s really brewing in Buffett’s empire. A Mountain of Cash: Strategy or Scepticism? A fortress of wealth—Berkshire’s cash strategy or cautionary signal? Berkshire's cash hoard is more than just impressive—it’s historic. This staggering sum could buy multiple Fortune 500 companies outright, yet Buffett appears in no rush to spend it. What gives? On February 21, the U.S. stock market experienced its sharpest decline in two months as economic concerns, disappointing corporate earnings, and policy uncertainties weighed on investor sentiment. - S&P 500 $S&P 500(.SPX)$  fell 1.7% (-104.39 points) to close at 6,013.13. - Dow Jones Industrial Average $DJIA(.DJI)$  dropped 1.7% (-748.63 points) to finish at 43,428.02. - Nasdaq Composite $NASDAQ(.IXIC)$  tumbled 2.2% (-438.36 points) to 19,524.01. U.S. Stock Market Suffered Its Worst Day in 2025
TOPTigerAI: On February 21, 2025, the U.S. stock market experienced its worst day in two months, leading to a sharp decline in major indices: The S&P 500 (SPX) fell 1.7% (-104.39 points) to close at 6,013.13. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) dropped 1.7% (-748.63 points) to finish at 43,428.02. The Nasdaq Composite (IXIC) tumbled 2.2% (-438.36 points) to 19,524.01. The key reasons behind the market decline were: Weak Economic Data: Several economic indicators signaled a slowdown in the U.S. economy. Business activity was slowing down, consumer confidence dropped to its lowest level since November 2023, and the housing market was struggling due to high mortgage rates. Disappointing Corporate Earnings: As earnings season progressed, there were disappointing corporate earnings reports from tech companies like Nvidia and Super Micro Computer. This led some institutional investors to reduce their holdings in major tech stocks, indicating concerns about high valuations. Rising Global Competition: The rapid rise of Chinese AI firms, such as DeepSeek, intensified competition for U.S. technology companies, adding uncertainty for investors. Uncertainty in Trade Policy: Former U.S. President Donald Trump's proposal to impose 25% import tariffs on pharmaceuticals, automobiles, and semiconductors fueled fears of a renewed global trade war. This policy uncertainty further rattled the stock market, adding to concerns about supply chain disruptions and rising costs for businesses. Given these factors, the stock market faces significant resistance to sustained gains, and the overall sentiment remains cautious as investors weigh the risks of potential further declines. Is the Nvidia GB200 (not B200!) ramping up on time? Nvidia’s Blackwell GB200 system, a cornerstone of the company’s next-generation AI infrastructure, has faced a series of challenges that have raised concerns about potential delays in its deployment. $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ plunged 27% in four trading days, which makes sense and is unexpected. But what is unexpected is why it fell NOW?Essentially, there are only two reasons for a selloff:A concerted sell-off/short-sale trade by investors who are pessimistic about their future share price due to high valuations, etc;Unrelated to valuation, market trends are affected by the actions of influential investors;Currently Palantir got both.Valuation EstimatesCurrent valuation: market capitalization of $212.677 billion, FY24 revenue of $2.87 billion, and a TTM price-to-sales ratio of 74x, which compares favorably to peers, and is well above Bloomberg Peers' 10.6x and GICS' peer group's 12.8x;The 2025 expected price-to-sales ratio of 63x rema

Which Stock Made You Feel Like You Could Retire with One Big Win?

In investing, there's always that one stock that makes you think, "If I catch this one, I’ll be financially free." We’ve all seen stories of traders who made life-changing money on a single trade. Just two weeks ago, a WallStreetBets investor timed the dip in SMCI perfectly and walked away with £289,384.58 (about $357,000) in profit. But for every success story, there are countless traders who mistime their moves—because let’s be honest, dip buying isn’t always the right move. Peter Lynch famously said, “Trying to catch the bottom is like trying to grab a falling knife.” That’s the reality of stock investing—timing is hard, luck plays a big role, and most people don’t get it right every time. My Perspective: Why I Don't Believe in "One Big Win" Personally, I don’t think I could ever retire

Palantir’s Next Move: A Tactical Approach for Investors

With U.S tax season approaching, retail investors might need to cash out some of their holdings to cover last year’s capital gains taxes. But honestly, the exact reason behind the stock’s movements might not matter all that much. For these overhyped stocks, the only thing driving them up is constant inflows of cash, and the only thing pulling them down is money flowing out. At its core, it’s just a matter of supply and demand. The investors who chased these stocks a couple of weeks ago probably weren’t doing it because of strong fundamentals. When a stock’s valuation hits 100x or even hundreds of times its earnings, talking about fundamental analysis starts to lose meaning. It’s turned into a game of hot potato. At this point, the best we can do is lean on technical analysis to spot key le

$Okta Inc.(OKTA)$ $SentinelOne, Inc(S)$ Cybersecurity spending continues to rise as regulatory bodies impose stricter security measures on enterprises.
