With the $ES meltdown, $SPX should be ready for the next major decline

With the $E-mini S&P 500 - main 2506(ESmain)$ meltdown, $S&P 500(.SPX)$ should be ready for the next major decline escalating the multi-year bear market.Once a new low is produced, I'd favor an ultra bearish 3/4/5 wave sequence to unfold with 5400-5300 as measured targets for the 3rd.Although, there would a great chance to cross the August 5120 low for the 5th. $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ $NASDAQ 100(NDX)$ $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ $E-mini Nasdaq 100 - main 2506(NQmain)$ ImageAlternate/Confirmation:

Could the oldest energy source be the newest stock market darling? As of March 25, 2025, nuclear energy stocks are surging, driven by global decarbonization pledges, energy security fears, and a wave of next-gen reactor approvals. A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY

Here's a full recap: 1. Stifel has upheld its Buy rating on $TSLA but dropped its price target to $455 from $474, adjusting near-term delivery expectations due to the Model Y (Juniper) rollout and resistance from anti-Elon Musk sentiment. Data from the Stifel Think Tank Group shows a sharp decline in Democrats’ favorability toward Tesla, posing short-term sales challenges. Consequently, Stifel has revised its forecasts to account for weaker near-term sales, lowering the target price accordingly. Despite anticipating ongoing share price fluctuations, the firm remains confident in Tesla’s medium- to long-term outlook and reaffirms its Buy recommendation. 2. OpenAI secured a record $40 billion funding round, valuing it at $300 billion, surpassing prior tech records. SoftBank led with $30 bill

Tariff or April effect, does it even matter?

It depends on who you asked. For tariff , with all the media looking in and hyping up, that seems to suggest an affirmative. As for April effect, historical data seems to suggest so, since 72% of the time, it ends up higher on average. Why? It is normally related to tax day.  As end April is tax time in US, it has been speculated that more people put money into their IRA to reduce their tax bills. IRA cash often than not find their way into stock market, boosting the market. If you ask me, now that I am no longer a trader, I don't really pay much attention. For an investor, near term doesn't affect much unless an unrecoverable crash is coming in that particular time period. The question for me rather is how do I protect my 💰 while still have a foot in the market. As I m

Quick Thoughts on Trump’s Tariffs

The steeper-than-expected sweeping tariffs imposed by the US may weigh on Asian equities in the short term, as they dampen the regional growth outlook and raise the risk of retaliatory tariffs from affected Asian countries. The Asia-Pacific region, characterized by its export-driven economies, is expected to face headwinds if global trade activity slows. Chinese-owned factories may also need to reconsider their relocation strategies, as Southeast Asian countries—including Vietnam (46%) and Cambodia (49%)—are also subject to higher US tariffs. China China now faces a hefty 34% reciprocal tariff on exports to the US, in addition to the existing 20% tariff.
