The share price dipped much lower after mid day, these puts were very much in the red only to recover the last hour when The share price rebounded to close flat For the day.  With big companies reporting their earnings this week, the volatility will get back up higher. expecting most companies to report favorable earnings as the whole tariff has yet to hit in first Q. $PLTR 20250502 120.0 CALL$ I have to admit, this was a lucky option swing trade, because I got in this very bad covered call position back on 25 April 2025 when PLTR was around $108. Luckily today PLTR had a correction back to $109 for me to exit the position in green. Sold this PLTR covered call last friday (25 April 2025) when PLTR was around $108. Was hoping for PLTR to reject off $108 back to lower price, but PLTR had too much Bullish momentum and broke above $108 and held very well. For now, PLTR seems to have recovered back above to $112 price level which was the pre-market price level. If PLTR managed to break above $112.3 and hold, then next level of resistance to watch for is $114.

$HEX.HK 20250529 390.00 PUT$ Closed yesterday's short strangle for around $50. Current inverted strangle for Hong Kong exchange is skewed $50 more to call side. As earnings is coming, there will be earnings risk. Decided to initiate >$50 put premiums to balance the call and put premiums. This will result in the strangle becoming directionless and also replace yesterday's $50 short premiums. 

$SOFI 20250516 15.0 CALL$ SoFI: collect 2.9% premium on these covered calls with strike at $15.  Contract expires in 3 weeks on 16th May.  These calls were sold a day before earnings so IV were good. Since these are sold calls, they should be considered as bearish bias.  However, i treat this only as premium collection and calls were sold with strike price higher than my average holding cost, so I would have made gains as long as SoFI maintain at current levels or move higher after earnings.  Update 29th April, true enough SoFI Earning beats and also raise its forecast for next quarter and is up about 4% and trades around $13.7 as of writing.  Despite price action is going up, the sold calls

$RCL 20250509 230.0 CALL$ RCL: collect 1.35% premium on these covered calls with strike at $230. Contract expires in 2 weeks on 9th May.  RCL announced its earnings on 29th April Premarket and beats estimates. It also raise its full year estimates which is a playbook away from the trend where other CEOs cuts forecast amidst the tariffs wars.  Despite this, stock was slightly down now after opening higher. We'll see how this trade goes but the earning uncertainty had been resolved. 

$MARA 20250502 13.0 PUT$ Sold fresh put that will expires later this week. Building some additional bullish positions when MARA came down slightly on Monday.
