$PLTR 20250725 160.0 CALL$ PLTR: collect 1.05% premium on this short call positions with strike at $160. Contract expires next Fri on 25th July.  PLTR continue its bullish rise and strong momentum. Volume is slightly lower than usual but nothing to say that it will turn.  Had been holding a nett short positions so this is a continuation trade. Should I get assigned, will be improving my short average cost and make it easier to break even when price corrects. At the same time, will also be losing more if price continue its march up. $SMCI DIAGONAL 250815/250718 CALL 55.0/CALL 50.0$ SMCI: losing trade risk management.  The expiring 18th July covered call with strike at $50 looked set to expire in the money and my shares to be called away since SMCI trades at $52.75 at close.  Decided to roll further out by 4 weeks to 15th Aug and higher strike at $55 to allow more breathing space for the stocks to rise.  Hope SMCI might take some breather and consolidate for a while to allow these covered calls to be able to generate premiums before I can sell new ones at higher strikes.  As it stands now, SMCI fortune is pretty much tied to Nvdia being its major supply chain partner. $TSLA 20250718 320.0 CALL$ TSLA: take a small profit on this short call that will expire on 18th July.  With less than 2 dats of trade remaining on this contract, TSLA had been hovering in and out of money around the strike if $320. Not wanted to get assigned and manipulated on the last day of trading, decided to close the trade when opportunity arose after TSLA slightly dipped below $320 at closing.
