The stock remains -38.3% below its 52-week high of $259.92, attempting to establish a floor. Core Market Drivers: QCOM surged despite mixed tech sentiment, fueled by dip-buying after recent pressure. The announced September 1st price hikes are seen as a potential catalyst to restore margins. πŸͺ™ Tiger Coins | DBS vs OCBC vs UOB: Which Bank Actually Won Earnings Season?

Singapore’s Big Three banks delivered their Q2 report cards within a 24-hour window. DBS reported first on August 6, followed by $OCBC Bank(O39.SI)$ and $UOB(U11.SI)$ on August 7. At first glance, all three delivered year-on-year profit growth. But once the numbers are compared side by side, the differences become much clearer. This earnings season was not simply about who made the most money. The bigger question was which bank adapted best to a lower-rate environment, found new sources of growth and gave investors the strongest reason to keep buying. As of post, $DBS(D05.SI)$ YTD 2026 is 33.12%, $UOB(U11.SI)$ YT
πŸͺ™ Tiger Coins | DBS vs OCBC vs UOB: Which Bank Actually Won Earnings Season?
TOPεŒ—ζžη―‚: I think the real thing to watch on this earnings report is not who is making the most, but who has proven that they can continue to create growth in the "low interest rate era". In the past few years, Singapore's three major banks have mainly benefited from the expansion of net interest margins brought about by high interest rates. Now, as the interest rate cut cycle unfolds, the market is beginning to re-examine the true core competitiveness of banks.

πŸ“‰ 3D-NAND Gets a New Wall Street Warning: Could Micron Be Next?

The memory trade has been one of the strongest semiconductor themes of 2026. AI data centres have driven extraordinary demand for memory and storage, while limited supply has pushed NAND and DRAM prices sharply higher. That combination helped send memory stocks to some of their strongest gains in years. This week, though, the trade showed a fresh sign of stress. $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ fell 6.8% on Thursday after investors reacted negatively to its outlook, while $Western Digital(WDC)$ dropped 13%. SK Hynix lost around 5%. $Micron Technology(MU)$ initially fell more than 7% before recovering most of the decline and closi
πŸ“‰ 3D-NAND Gets a New Wall Street Warning: Could Micron Be Next?
TOPJerry Lam: I pick B: 3D-NAND is cooling, but DRAM/HBM is still strong. Right now it's more like storage is starting to diverge internally, rather than the whole memory cycle weakening at the same time. NAND had a large increase before. Once the pricing growth rate slows down, the profit expectations of SanDisk and WDC will be more likely to be revised down; However, HBM is supported by the demand of AI servers, and the supply and demand structure is still tighter, so Micron may have a stronger profit buffer. My strategy is to temporarily reduce the willingness to chase the NAND chain, focus on observing NAND contract prices and analyst earnings revisions, while continuing to track HBM orders versus production capacity. If DRAM/HBM remains strong, I wouldn't define this round of correction as a full-blown storage cycle peak.

I don't think every technology stock should be treated the same during a market sell-off. Some businesses have strong earnings and cash flow behind them, while others depend heavily on very high future expectations. $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ is the one I would treat with more caution. The company has enormous potential in electric vehicles, autonomous driving, robotics and AI, but the share price also reflects a lot of that future potential. If expectations around robotaxis or Optimus are delayed, the stock could fall sharply even if the underlying business remains healthy. For me, Tesla has more characteristics of a bubble-risk stock because investors are paying heavily for future growth that has not fully materialised yet.

The Lock-Up Shoe Dropped. The Guidance One Is Still in the Air.

Hello. The largest first tranche of any IPO lock-up in US market history came free last night: 911.5 million $SpaceX(SPCX)$ insider shares became eligible to sell, taking the freely tradable count from about 639 million to roughly 1.55 billion in one step. The shares rose 6.14 per cent. The day the selling actually happened wasn't last night. It was the day before. On Wednesday the stock fell 13.61 per cent on about 200 million shares, the heaviest turnover since 18 June; last night volume hit 251 million and set another high, yet the price went up. Heavier volume than Wednesday, and the price went the other way β€” the people who wanted to sell had mostly finished on Wednesday. Someone went back through three comparable cases: in ea
