I opened $NVDA 20250321 100.0 PUT$ ,Averaged down on NVDA on a down day. The volatility is still high but the magnitude is not as high. I am hoping that the volatility would die down and get out since missed the optimal timing the day after the big drop.
I opened $iShares MSCI Japan ETF(EWJ)$ ,Weekly purchase into the Japanese economy. The BOJ has announced rate hikes to 0.5% this week and I believe it's a possible bullish sign in the long run for the economy.
I opened $Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLE)$ ,Weekly general buy into the energy sector. There has been a lot of talks about the nuclear sector which does warrant some attention to dive into details. However, nuclear has always been a controversial form of energy. For the time being, I believe that the mainstay of energy would still be oil and gas.
I opened $EQT Corp(EQT)$ ,Weekly buy into the energy sector. There has been a lot of talks about the nuclear sector which does warrant some attention to dive into details. However, nuclear has always been a controversial form of energy. For the time being, I believe that it will not be as massive a scale as oil and gas.
I opened $GLOBALFOUNDRIES Inc.(GFS)$ ,Weekly DCA into AI chip play. It is still an unknown as to who will emerge victorious in the long run so I will just continue buying in my conviction companies.
I opened $ONEOK Inc(OKE)$ ,Weekly DCA into oil and gas position. this is a long term position and is proving to be fruitful over some time of accumulation with Trump wanting US to be out of the Paris agreement. This is a pipeline company, collecting "toll" as oil and gas passes through. I believe it will remain a staple for many years to come until green hydrogen (maybe) eventually takes over.
I opened $NVDA 20251219 80.0 PUT$ ,Sold NVDA Dec 80 Put for $500 USD, taking advantage of yet another down day. Expect volatility to still be high, and bracing over the next few days and even weeks for volatility to die down.
I opened $NVDA 20250620 100.0 PUT$ ,Took the chance with NVDA's plunge to load a bit on its longer term equity position. Looking to fade away the premium but buying NVDA for 95 is not bad too. Got into position and averaged in too early. My initial target price was 120 @ $6 premium but I was hasty.
I opened $NVDA 20250321 100.0 PUT$ ,Took the chance with NVDA's plunge to load a bit on its longer term equity position. Looking to fade away the premium but buying NVDA for 95 is not bad too. This is a shorter term expiry as an experiment on how such tech stock options react.
